This picture was painted whilst listening to the very excellent new album by My Darling Clementine on repeat.  Called "The Reconciliation?" it is an album you should hear.  You'll love it.  The picture has nothing to do with the very excellent new album by My Darling Clementine but the sound of the album is bright and curvy and always moving forward which steered the way the painting developed.

Some of the lyrics describe times when everything is wrong and nothing is right, when your day is as dark as the darkest night.  Songs of love and death and ocean.  But there are shafts of light shining through - whether it is a really funky bass line, chunky guitar riff, clever lyric - that remind you that daylight has a way of arriving at just the right time.
